Rogers Says Android 4.4 KitKat Coming Soon

The Android 4.4 KitKat roll out has commenced in the United States, and has already reached AT&T and T-Mobile. The update will also reach other regions later this month.

If you’re residing in Canada, you be glad to find out the Android 4.4 KitKat update is coming to LG G2, as well as a bunch of other devices including Desire 601, Sony Xperia Z1, and a few more devices running on Rogers.

It also lists Samsung Galaxy S4 and Galaxy Note 3 to also get the latest Android 4.4 KitKat in the coming weeks. Samsung has already commenced the chocolaty updates for both handsets, and it’s rolling out as we speak, but it might take a few weeks to reach all regions. We also have a Galaxy S4, but it has not arrived here yet.

Additionally, it also mentions that the best-selling Windows Phone device, the Nokia Lumia 520, will also get the latest Lumia Black update on March 10th which brings a bunch of new features including glance screen, double tap to wake, drivers mode, custom ringtons and much more.

Unfortunately, Rogers didn’t give out an exact date for roll out, but it still a good thing knowing that it will arrive. We’ll update you as soon as it begins in Canada.
